About us

Secretum is the latin word for 'secret' and 'private'. We chose it as a signifier for things that are precious, things that one wishes to keep for themselves, things that constitute one's private collection. As a team of two people, an art historian and a photographer, we have a keen eye for jewelry that stands out but also for jewelry that can be worn by anyone at all times. Our products are sourced locally, in Greece, and come from small businesses who care about quality and craftsmanship.

Our brick-and-mortar shop is located in Chalandri, Athens, on the ground floor of the Platon Plaza shopping centre. We would love you to visit us if you happen to be in the neighbourhood, and take a look at not only our jewelry collection but also the vintage decorative items we have lovingly selected and are unfortunately too fragile to ship.
